Who am I?

I’m Gyan Yankovich, a writer and relentless advice-giver who you might know from Man Repeller, BuzzFeed, Cosmopolitan, and—if you grew up in Australia—DOLLY and CLEO magazines. I’ve written for The Cut, VICE, Refinery29, and PopSugar, and am currently the managing editor at Junkee Media. I’ve spent the last five years living in New York and Sydney, and while I might not always be right, I assure you I try my very best.

Why She’ll Be Right?

‘She’ll be right’ is Australian for ‘everything will be okay’. In the context of this newsletter, it’s the reassurance that I would never recommend anything I don’t wholeheartedly believe in.
